Hero the Cat needs a home
Hero came to Purrfect Pals when her owner had a baby and could no longer keep her. She is very independent but likes attention from everyone. Hero is such a love bug and really likes to have her face rubbed and petted on the head, chin, and around the cheeks and ears. Not so much down the back and hind legs and tummy are off limits. Hero will let you know this with a deep raspy verbal warning. Her voice may be deep by her purr sounds like the trill of a bird when she is happy and is very loud. Hero will want to sit on your lap forever and will sometimes swat at you kindly if you stop petting her too soon. She even loves walking on the big hamster wheel in the Leukemia Land room. Hero has beautiful, long fur that needs to be brushed, though she's not fond of the brush, she will tolerate it if you are petting her head and chin areas at the same time.
She tolerates other cats but will swat them away if she's on your lap as she doesn't like to share you with them. Hero enjoys finding the sun spots to lay in and occasionally will play with a string type toy but will walk away if another at gets involved. Hero qualifies for the Permanent Foster Program where any care or cost of any Feline Leukemia related health issues will be covered by Purrfect Pals. Like all Purrfect Pals cats Hero has been viral tested, altered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
